Statement
My work is mainly about people, memory and the events that shape our lives. I often look at images from art history and bring them together with stories and situations from the present. I am interested in the gap between what we remember and what actually happened, and in the things that we could not change or did not change. Painting is my main language, but I also work with video, ceramics, objects and installation. I see my practice as a way of looking at both personal and social memory.
