Statement
Haein Kim lives and works in South Korea. She examines the unpredictability and potential of a moving state, especially in her relationships with her surroundings. Her works function as milestones in new spaces, marking her geographical and psychological journey.
While she has primarily developed her ideas into artist books, her current approach is to position texts and images outside the conventional format of publications. She experiments with the poetic rhythm of texts and images, incorporating printmaking, drawing, and writing.
