Statement
My work begins with sound, but rarely remains only audible. I build installations and interactive systems that translate a viewer’s distance, touch and movement into light, vibration and changes across material surfaces. Copper, polycarbonate, hanji, fabric and field recordings become responsive interfaces. As viewers activate these works, they alter the installation and become newly aware of their own bodies, the surrounding space and the relations forming between them.
