Statement
My practice explores perception, memory and landscape through painting. Moving between abstraction and representation, I work in layers of acrylic and oil, using revision and concealment to leave traces of earlier marks. Walking, photography and archival research inform my paintings, while my ongoing artistic journal brings together visual studies, reflections and collected fragments. I am interested in what landscapes preserve and conceal, creating works that invite sustained attention and allow meaning to emerge gradually.
