Statement
My paintings are places where viewers encounter their own perception. When I paint, I try not to reduce emerging colors and forms to already named objects. On the same surface, recognizable forms coexist with forms that resist naming. The viewer moves between them: as soon as something seems understood, that certainty begins to collapse. The image is not fixed inside the painting; it rises, is named, and loosens again within the viewer’s perception. What I offer is not an image, but the site where an image begins to appear. I stop my brush just before explanation is complete, so an unfinished line can become the place where perception starts to move.
