Bioplastic Making Workshop: Textured Painting and Framing Plants & Photo Prints

Discover the art of bioplastic creation in this beginner-friendly workshop led by artists Jay Lee and Maria Helena K. Nerhus. Designed to introduce you to the basics of working with bioplastic, this session focuses on crafting framed pieces that incorporate natural elements and photo prints, offering a unique blend of sustainability and artistic expression.

During this two-hour workshop, you’ll learn how to make bioplastic and use it as a medium for framing and layering textures. With options to embed natural elements like flowers and leaves or personal photo prints, you’ll create a meaningful piece that reflects your personal aesthetic and memories.

• All materials included, except natural elements or photo prints if you want to put them in the bioplastic frames! Please feel free to bring your own flowers & leaves or photo prints to use. It is still completely okay if you don’t bring them with you also!
• Light refreshments (snacks & juice) to enjoy as you work.
• Personal guidance and demonstrations.
