Meet the On-line Artist // Lauren Blankstein

Lauren is an interdisciplinary artist inspired by dwellings, urban spaces, and how they are inhabited. She explores the relationship between humanity and the built environment, investigating themes such as the childhood home, hidden spaces, interior/exterior, and the body in space.

The objects she creates become autonomous entities, shaped by chance and process. By selecting materials and methods that require her to relinquish control, she embraces unpredictability, highlighting the poetic connections that emerge in everyday spaces.
