Meet the On-line Artist // Dae
Dae is a Cuban-American artist dedicated to fusing artistic and somatic techniques to encourage self-discovery. They use a variety of media, such as traditional visual elements, sound, movement, body work and texture, to explore the interconnection between the inner and outer world.
In their project, they delve into self-expression through their body’s preferred languages, blending touch, movement, and sound. Through filming, they aim to explore the transformative potential of slowing down and reconnecting with the self. Handcrafted canvas garments, natural sounds, and somatic movement celebrate the essence of being. A project which explores the delicate equilibrium defining the human experience.
