Brain Damage brings together several small oil paintings on paper centred on the continuities between the body and its environment, conceived as a single material ecosystem shaped by logics of domination, constraint, and persistence. The work questions how social and affective structures shape representations of the female body, as well as the processes through which these images are transformed, degraded, or sustained under pressure.
