The piece shared in this display is a section of a larger installation Judge has been developing over the past few months. The work examines how time accumulates in layers: in city surfaces, in material wear, in the evidence that destruction and construction leave the same marks.

Built from cardboard and plastic, raw urban materials activated by LEDs and motors, the sculpture uses the juxtaposition of rough against translucent, stillness against slow mechanical movement, to compress these traces of time into shifting light and shadow. During the remaining time at GlogauAIR, Judge will expand this work through time-based media, integrating animation and soundscapes into light, shadow, and motion installations.
