When I moved from Barcelona to Berlin at the beginning of the year, I was struck by the difference in light between the two cities, and this has had an impact on my life.
The quantity and quality of light has influenced the way I interact with spaces and other people. This new scenario and the daily changes it brings have also made me think about the past and my memories in a different way. I feel that I am experiencing a transformation which is bringing out aspects of myself that were not so visible before, while letting go of those that have turned out to be a burden.
An apparently symmetrical image acts as a metaphor for sameness, while a sheet of paper hindering the light acts as an invitation to move and observe things from a different perspective.
