Hedvig Greiffenberg (b. 1994) is a Danish artist whose practice spans installation, sculpture and writing. Her work centers around installation with a specific interest in perception, composition and epistemological liminality, as well as more formal sculptural questions related to negative and positive space. She received an MFA from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2024.

Currently her work investigates the middle ground between language and installation creating assemblages of both found and made objects. This new series of works raise into question the semantics of the material world, exploring layering and framing of objects as well as the void in between. Greiffenberg’s material production seeks to create and operate in the ways of poetry: letting things touch, creating new worlds in an encounter, and exploring the interrelation between fragility, annihilation, and creation.
