Conrad Kaczor, known as Icon Sleepy Tut, is a street dancer and multidisciplinary artist whose practice integrates movement, film, photography, and digital media to explore themes of grief, memory, and transformation.
During his residency at GlogauAIR, Kaczor is developing Kola, a mixed-media solo performance that investigates personal grief following the loss of his mother, connecting it to broader family histories, post-war displacement, and generational memory. Influenced by Brutalist architecture and Cubism, his work explores how structure, fragmentation, and reconstruction mirror the emotional processes of loss and healing.
Through movement, projected visuals, and sound, Kola treats the body as both archive and architecture — a vessel holding stories shaped by inheritance, trauma, and survival.
