Painters on Paper is a new series of exhibitions by George Oates exploring the relationship between painters and their work on paper, with each edition co-curated by a guest.
Painters on Paper 1 at GlogauAIR Project Space, curated by Oates, Thomas Delaroziere & Theo Metais, will investigate the different relationships that 10 international Berlin-based painters have to paper and what part it plays in their practice. Preparatory drawings, experimentation, intended stand-alone works and everything in between.
