Berlin Boudoir was started in 2019 by Monika Kozub – artist and feminist activist focused on showing women’s beauty and power. Its aim is to change existing beauty standards in popular culture and to build a supportive community around women’s issues on social media.
The pop-up show at GlogauAIR will focus on two core aspects of Berlin Boudoir’s activism: body-positivity and destigmatizing menstruation. P.E.R.I.O.D. – an art music video celebrating periods and fighting period poverty in a tongue-in-cheek way will be shown on a big screen for the first time. And we’ll be giving away actual period money!
