During the lockdown, I lost the opportunity to do performances and work in dance studios. So I started working delivering food in Tokyo at that time. Almost nobody was in the streets and while riding a bike to deliver food, I was taking many pictures and collecting images of lightning rods on the tops of buildings. They are waiting for thunder and lightning. I was impressed by how they tried to communicate with something very far away and waiting. I started to create a performance to be like a lighting rod and try to communicate with something very very far away.
