TITANIO (Titanium) is a video piece that is about meditation and cyber consciousness. Starting from the idea of “leaving the mind blank”, an image of the sea is used as an idyllic setting to frame such a state, giving rise to reflection on the act of meditation of our digital self in cyberspace. Imagining a dystopian future that we contemporarily evoke, we want to imagine a futuristic scenario in which human-technology hybridization will have completely blurred any border between reality and virtual reality in our daily lives. This approach to cybernetic consciousness that the work Titanio advocates for a world that is drifting towards the total dominance of computer systems and artificial intelligence over us and our lives. Thus suggesting possible ways to understand and represent a humanoid consciousness.
