The showcase this week displays work by Inhee Yang, one of our resident artists, from South Korea.
My work is in reference to ‘the act of visual reading’, rather than being the result of such configurations. The ‘Paralyze’ showcase consisted of a 12-hour-long drawing installation of the painting directly onto the windows of the showcase on the evening of the 6th August to the morning of the following day. It is about day and night, inside and outside, opening and closing; day and night are upside down, facing inside and outside, and opening and closing are repeated. It’s also about the people.
Inhee Yang will be presenting her work at GlogauAIR’s Open Studios on September 21 – 22, 2019.
