Through my photographic work, I always try my best to represent my communities in all their authenticity by bringing an insider’s view on them, without filter.

For this showcase, I’m presenting a series of pictures around queer intimacy, because it has changed my life in the best possible way: by overcoming gender boundaries, breaking the codes of binarity, learning to communicate and by expressing and asking for consent. It’s freeing not to have to fulfill any clichés in the face of a predominantly patriarchal sexuality. Being able to share a sexuality that doesn’t always focus on your partner’s genitals is fundamental, especially with trans people; not putting pressure on that area is liberating. There are simply so many other things to explore, feel and love when you detach yourself from societal norms.
