    • Funding & Visa

    • Please describe your present funding situation and outline your plans to secure funding in advance of the residency. Please note that all funding decisions must be confirmed in advance of your residency. Please note that the Residency is not funded, the artist is in charge of their own funding. However, if you can find another financial aid (gallery, private or public institution, etc.) we will be happy to have you with us.
    • Please indicate how you plan to fund your residence. It is the responsibility of the resident artist to ensure their funding is organised 3 months before their residency starts. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this.
    • Please note that the application procedure is competitive. Candidates will be selected at GlogauAIR’s sole discretion four weeks after the application deadline. 1) Successful candidates will be notified via email. They will be sent a draft copy of the contract and will be required to provide additional administrative information in order to formalize the Agreement. 2) Candidates will only be considered as fully accepted residents once they return a signed copy of the Agreement and GlogauAIR receives the full payment of the deposit. 3) Administrative and processing fees will be applied to cancellations prior to residency begin and thereafter. 4) The Deposit guarantee will be returned in full to the artist should there be no damages or other encumbrances upon check-out at the end of the residency period. 5) All payments will be made via bank transfer, no cash will be accepted. Any bank charges will be paid by the artist.
    • Please indicate if you will be required to obtain a visa to come to Germany. It is the responsibility of the resident artist to ensure their visa is organised 3 months before their residency starts. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding this.
    • We start contacting approximately one month after the deadline. If selected you will receive a confirmation email and further information regarding the next steps to confirm your residency with us. Please check your spam folder just in case.
