This ongoing series explores forgotten identities and lost heritage. Through these works, I reflect on the destruction and preservation of cultural memory in Iran. Each piece reimagines historical elements through a contemporary lens, capturing both loss and resilience.

Cyrus Gate
Mixed media on canvas, 60 × 80 cm
Inspired by the monument attributed to Cyrus after the conquest of Babylon. The mythical bird Homa, symbol of happiness, fades into the background — long forgotten, yet a hope to return
Forgotten Cries
Mixed media on canvas, 120 x 80 cm
Forgotten Cries is inspired by the 8,000-year-old cemetery of Ardabil, where statues without mouths stand in silence — except for the lone figure of a woman, whose silent presence becomes the echo of voices once lost. This work reflects on suppressed memories and the fragile traces of ancient civilizations.
