For the present Open Studios exhibition GlogauAIR is collaborating with the polish Foundation Faktoria Artystyczna opening them the opportunity to bring a representation of artists to exhibit in the Project Space, in the ground floor of GlogauAIR. With this activity we want to open a dialogue between our regular activity of the residency program and other cultural initiatives, following our aim to be a platform of cultural exchange and an open space for artistic manifestation.

The main goal of the Faktoria Artystyczna Foundation is letting the Artists present their works unburdened by the restrictive rules of museums or commitments required by commercial galleries; allowing, like this, the artists to create their most interesting works in freedom.

Faktoria Artystyczna's main focus is to present and promote mid- and high-career Polish artists, recipients of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage art grants; considering this award, granted by a panel of eminent Polish celebrities and creators, to be the best indicator of quality of their achievements and the best recommendation for audiences.

This collaboration will not only restrict to artists based in Poland but will include three based in Berlin artists, enforcing the collaborative experience with the city, the international artists in Residence and the travelling Polish artists. Besides the geographical aspect, the exchange will be also generational, trying to put together artists on different career stages, from emerging artists to well established ones.
