Through my painting I seek to reflect in the relation between bodies, in the instance in which one dominates the other, from a subtle presence to abuse. I am also concerned with the psychological andphysical undercurrents that are held between these bodies. I conjure the figures in bold and colorful settings, a theatrical and almost absurd space where bodies collide and open up a veiled story. Bold and visceral gestures aim to suggest a recognition within the viewer of an over blown, tragic and intimate scene, a self-contained drama.
