Olivier Morvan co-founded in 1998 the collective CELLULE 0038753K (a title referring to the collective's administrative registration file number) which, until 2004, developed critical works, mainly interactive installations and videos, that revolved around themes of man's relationship to media and technology. In 2005, he began working on the escapologic project (escapologique.net / the term escapology referring to the art and science of escape), a long-term project that build a story through a series of exhibitions, presented notably at Ars Longa (Paris, 2007), Skol (Montreal, 2009), Néon (Lyon, 2010), Lage Egal (Berlin, 2011), L’oeil de poisson (Quebec, 2013), Gamerz (Aix-en-Provence, 2014). His last work “The Sprawling Home”, explores documentary and experimental cinema with digital tools.
